Italian-style rustic bread that has an airy and light crumb complemented with a thin crust. Great when sliced and toasted, but even more interesting to slice from the side and portion as sandwiches.
This dough is infused with extra virgin olive oil that we source from Jerash and Madaba. The long fermentation of the dough (average 18-24 hrs) brings a slightly milky taste to the dough, although no dairy products are added.
Vegan. Hybrid Sourdough.
Ingredients: Unbleached white flour (80%), local wholemeal wheat flour (20%), water, salt, olive oil.
