Qunioa has been widely known in the last few years because of its high nutritional value. It contains more protein than rice or wheat, as well as being mineral-rich and gluten-free. qunioa can be served cold with salads, or hot with curries as a substitute for rice.
To cook quinoa, rinse it first. Use 1 part of quinoa to 2 parts of water, boil it until translucent and then leave it covered for 5-10 minutes.
